I wasn’t a “boot person.” All of the 20 years that I have been riding, I have not had a need to use boots on either of the horses I owned (or so I thought).  Wow, was I wrong!

It seems like it took forever for Spring to come BUT it is finally here! I was looking for a riding outfit that was breathable, but also could still keep me comfortable in the chilly evenings. Summer is such a fun time of the year! The weather is perfect & people are out and about. This is why I love having pieces in my wardrobe that can be worn for both riding and everyday hanging out. Noble Equestrian is GREAT brand for this.

After I reviewed the Collegiate English tack earlier this year, I knew I needed to step up my western tack game. That being said, I had been wanting to replace my western cinch with a mohair one for a while now; that review just gave me a push in the right direction.

Sure, I have plenty of barn outfits that I end up wearing out, cute or not, because it's convenient for that moment. However, Goode Rider is a brand that I actually CHOOSE to wear out on the town. Even though Winter has come to an end, we don’t really stop wearing our winter riding outfits until mid-Spring. Well, at least I don’t since I live in cold ole’ Illinois! I figured I would get one last winter review out and then onto SPRING!

We are 3 and a half months into 2019, so I think it is still acceptable to preach NEW YEAR, NEW HABITS! One of my new habits is wearing a helmet while I ride. Yes, I know, I should’ve been wearing one all along, but I ride Western and it was never engrained in my head to wear a helmet.
