#TBT Rockfish Wellies Review

Over this past weekend I was given a pair of the Rockfish Tall Adjustable Matt Wellies to try out for the 2016 Equine Affaire event in Massachusetts. I must say I was a little hesitant to be standing all day on concrete and wearing a pair of wellies, but to my surprise I fell in love with these boots! Not only were they super comfortable to wear all day, but shockingly fashionable with the breeches I was wearing as well. The shock absorbing foam insole and foot bed saved me from getting too sore from being on my feet all day. I didn’t do the typical work that one might think of when it comes to wearing wellies or “muck boots,” which in my opinion is why these boots can be more versatile, but I can’t wait to try them out at the barn.

Some features of these boots include:

I am super excited about the fact that these boots are resistant to horse urine! I hate having a pair of “muck boots” fall apart because they get dried out from cleaning stalls or wearing them in the rain…you know using them for exactly what they are made to do.

These Rockfish wellies have been an essential piece in my fall/winter style. Living downtown Chicago this time of year comes with rain and snow which turns into dirty slush (gross), I love how I have these to help me get through it with no problem. They are stylish with my skinny jeans, which is a major plus for me. Then I can turn right around, wear them to the barn and get down to some dirty work cleaning my horse’s stall and doing some chores. Just wash them off, and they’re ready for the city again.

Bottom line, I am so happy I decided to give these wellies a try. These boots aren’t made for a specific person; anyone can wear these. Wear them out on a day trip or wear them for barn chores. Whatever your preference, these boots are a good fit.

One Stop Equine Shop carries different styles, including Tall Adjustable Gloss Wellies and Tall Adjustable Matt Wellies in various sizes and colors. Check out our Rockfish Wellies Collection here.
