Horze Supreme Zoe Women's Lightweight Padded Jacket & Irideon Issential Tight-Outfit Review

Finally, it's that time of the year where we are getting a few days of Spring-like weather every so often! I’m hopeful that my days of bundling up to go to the barn are over…"hopeful" being the key word there. Last weekend it was in the 40’s, so I took full advantage of that and busted out my new riding outfit, a Horze Supreme Zoe Lightweight Padded Jacket paired with the Irideon Issential Tight. The Horze Supreme Zoe Lightweight Padded Jacket is a lightweight combo jacket that’s lightly padded and lined with soft fleece for cool weather riding. While I was outside turning my horse, Bentley, out it was pretty windy; lucky for me, this jacket is windproof. I had no issues keeping my top half warm, even when the winds were strong enough to almost blow my hat off! This jacket has super cozy fabric on the sleeves that extends down onto your hands when you have your thumbs in the thumb holes. This feature was nice when leading Bentley outside as my hands were protected from the chilly wind. I was relaxed and comfortable while riding in this jacket. The two-way zipper allowed for me to have ample room in the saddle without feeling constricted. It truly is designed to move with your body when you ride. I was really drawn to the two-tone color and mixed fabric that gives this jacket a sharp, sporty look. Some other features:

I mixed-and-matched different brands for my outfit and went with the Irideon Issential Tight to pair with this Horze jacket. This tight is one of the softest riding tights I have ever worn. The four-way stretch, body-contouring panels and 1 ½ inch waistband make them extremely comfortable, but also offered support at the same time. There are belt loops, but I didn’t feel the need to wear a belt. I groomed my horse, picked her feet, and saddled her up with no issue of them slipping or feeling the need to have to pull them up. They feature flattering, no chafe seams which are KEY while riding. You don’t realize how “issential” it is to have flat seams until you ride and post in a pair of tights that don’t have them. It’s not fun! Irideon created riding wear with three basic principles in mind: comfort, performance, a great look. After riding in this tight, I could tell it truly is designed and patterned in the saddle for a perfect fit just like Irideon claims. In my opinion, they hit all three goals with this tight. The contrasting Chamisoft knee patches give them a stylish look, but are still functional in the saddle giving you a non-slip grip. More features:

I am 5'7" and measure 28" at my waist; I'm wearing size Medium in both the Horze Supreme Zoe Lightweight Padded Jacket and the Irideon Issential Tight. I chose to pair colors Castlerock Grey/Black for the jacket with the Dove Grey option for the tight. Some other color combos to try out would be pairing the Aurora Pink/Peacoat Dark Blue jacket with the Chambray color tight OR the Formula Red/Black jacket with the Black tights.
